Stats: Industrial Producer Prices Up 0.7% Y-o-y in November

Bratislava, 22 December (TASR) – Industrial producer prices for the domestic market rose by 0.7 percent year-on-year in November 2025, with prices increasing in twelve out of 16 industrial sectors, the Statistics Office reported on Monday. On a month-on-month basis, prices fell by 0.9 percent. In the cumulative period of the first eleven months of 2025, domestic industrial producer prices were 0.5 percent higher. In sectors with a significant share of the total, prices rose mainly in the manufacture of transport equipment by 4.8 percent, in the manufacture of food, beverages and tobacco by 1.8 percent, and in the manufacture of metals by 2.3 percent. By contrast, lower prices were recorded in the key energy sector, down 2.2 percent, and in the manufacture of computer products, down 2.4 percent. Industrial producer prices for export increased by 1.4 percent year-on-year and rose by 0.4 percent month-on-month. In the cumulative period of the first eleven months of 2025, export industrial producer prices were 1.1 percent higher than a year earlier. mf
