Foreign Ministry State Secretary Chovanec to Visit Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bratislava, 4 November (TASR) - Foreign Affairs Ministry State Secretary Rastislav Chovanec will depart on Tuesday for a working visit to Sarajevo, with his official programme taking place from 5 to 6 November, TASR was told by the ministry's press department on the same day.
Chovanec is due to attend a working meeting of foreign ministers of the Danube Strategy countries, as well as the 14th annual forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) held under this year's presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The forum's agenda will include EU enlargement, youth unemployment, education, water security and the green and digital transitions.
The state secretary will also meet representatives of the Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to hand over humanitarian aid from Slovakia worth more than €43,000.
In addition, he'll visit the EUFOR Althea military base, where a Slovak contingent (SLOVCON) of 54 soldiers of the Slovak Armed Forces is stationed. At Camp Butmir, he'll be received by EUFOR Commander Florin-Marian Barbu.
