Police Examining Bomb Threat in Michalovce Hospital

Michalovce, 3 October (TASR) – Police are currently examining a bomb threat at the hospital in Michalovce, spokesperson for the Kosice Regional Police Directorate Lenka Ivanova confirmed to TASR on Friday. The police have secured the area around the hospital to prevent unauthorised access and are currently carrying out the necessary security measures. "A dog handler with a police dog trained to detect explosives is also present at the scene, and pyrotechnic inspection is being carried out in the hospital," she said, adding that no further details could be provided at this time due to the ongoing investigation. jrg
