Dvorak: SAV Confirms Vaccine Safety, Kotlar Must Be Ousted

Bratislava, 21 August (TASR) – An analysis of mRNA vaccines by the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV) has confirmed what both experts and the public have long known – that the vaccines are completely safe, opposition MP Oskar Dvorak from Progressive Slovakia (PS) declared on Thursday. Dvorak criticised Government’s Proxy for Investigation into the COVID-19 Pandemic Management Peter Kotlar for spreading “nonsense and disinformation” about vaccines. He called for Kotlar’s immediate dismissal. „I am now calling on the ministers from Voice-SD, Drucker and Sasko, to stand by their words and insist on the removal of Peter Kotlar from his post, so that he no longer costs taxpayers even one euro more,” the legislator said in a statement. Earlier on Thursday, the SAV reported that its analysis found only trace amounts of DNA molecules in the vaccines, far below approved limits. It warned that claims suggesting high DNA content were based on incorrect methods and/or misinterpreted results. These claims were described as false and misleading. The SAV announced the completion of its analysis at the end of July and stated that it was prepared to present the findings once the Health Ministry scheduled a date. Health Minister Kamil Sasko (Voice–SD) requested the vaccine analysis back in April in response to Kotlar’s allegations. Kotlar had claimed that vaccine batches were capable of altering human DNA, potentially causing serious health conditions, based on an analysis available to him. mf
