Bratislava, June 20 (TASR) - The law on lobbying will be the result of a factual discussion, Interior Ministry State Secretary Michal Kalinak stated on Friday, adding that a month ago the issue was discussed at a round-table.
The second meeting on the issue of lobbying will be held next week on Thursday (26 June) under the auspices of Parliamentary Chair Richard Rasi (Voice-SD). Representatives of NGOs have also been invited.
"The law on lobbying will be the result of a factual debate. Exactly one month ago, on 20 May, the first round-table was held exclusively with the participation of tripartite members and experts from Germany. It included the formulation of conclusions and recommendations. The second round-table is scheduled to take place next week on Thursday under the auspices of House Chair Richard Rasi in cooperation with the Parliamentary Institute, and invitations have already been sent to representatives of non-governmental organisations," said Kalinak, who is also the government proxy for local government.
