Polls: President Peter Pellegrini Most Trustworthy Political Leader in Slovakia

Bratislava, October 30 (TASR) - President Peter Pellegrini is the most trustworthy political leader in Slovakia, enjoying trust from 51 percent of respondents, whereas 45.9 percent distrust him, according to polls conducted for JOJ 24 by AKO agency. The second place was claimed by head of Progressive Slovakia Michal Simecka, who commands trust from 39.9 percent whereas 51.7 percent distrust him. Ranking third was KDH chair Milan Majersky, who is trusted by 38.4 percent and distrusted by 45.2 percent. The top three most trustworthy leaders are followed by Voice-SD chair and Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok (trusted by 36.4 percent, distrusted by 54.3 percent), SaS chair Branislav Groehling (trusted by 36.3 percent, distrusted by 52.8 percent) and Prime Minister and Smer-SD chair Robert Fico (trusted by 32.3 percent, distrusted by 64.2 percent). In addition, also ranked were Democrats leader Jaroslav Nad (trusted by 28.7 percent, distrusted by 57.3 percent), House Vice-chair Peter Ziga (Voice-SD), tasked with heading Parliament (trusted by 27.2 percent, distrusted by 54.5 percent), Republic chair Milan Uhrik (trusted by 25 percent, distrusted by 59.7 percent), 'We Are Family' chair Boris Kollar (trusted by 19.9 percent, distrusted by 75 percent), SNS leader Andrej Danko (trusted by 17.4 percent, distrusted by 78.6 percent), 'Slovakia' chair Igor Matovic (trusted by 17.4 percent, distrusted by 79.8 percent) and, finally, Hungarian Alliance head Laszlo Gubik (trusted by 7.5 percent, distrusted by 35.3 percent).
