26. septembra 2024 15:31
Bratislava, September 26 (TASR) - The House Committee for Supervision of Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) failed to discuss current security challenges on Thursday due to a lack of quorum, MP Maria Kolikova (SaS), who initiated the extraordinary session, confirmed to TASR on the same day.
Kolikova added that SIS director Pavol Gaspar was present at the session.
The lawmaker planned to ask the director about media reports of SIS acquiring Pegasus spyware and discuss bomb alerts in schools and courts. In addition, Kolikova wanted the committee to deal with the threat of a potential attack on a constitutional official, mentioned in the past by Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD).
