Bratislava Police Assist at Sinking Anchored Ship on Danube

Bratislava, 11 August (TASR) - Bratislava police officers are currently assisting in the vicinity of the Tyrsovo Embankment, where one of the ships at anchor has started sinking into the River Danube, the police posted on a social network on Monday, adding that there are no persons on the ship. "We received a notification on the 158 line shortly after 2.45 p.m., according to which we were asked for assistance in connection with the sinking of an anchored ship, while the police, together with members of the Fire and Rescue Corps, as well as members of the police river department are carrying out the necessary actions on the scene," wrote the police officers. am/mcs
