Police Accuse J.B. of Causing Damage to Environment Ministry of Almost €570,000

Bratislava, May 12 (TASR) - The police have charged J.B. (name abbreviated due to legal reasons) for the ongoing crime of violating obligations in the management of somebody else's property in connection with an inefficient, wasteful and purposeless use of Environment Ministry funds, the police reported on a social network on Monday, adding that this caused damage to the state budget worth a total of almost €570,000. The charges were brought by an investigator of the Office for Combating Organised Crime of the Police Corps Presidium. "At the moment we won't provide further information on the case in order not to thwart the investigation," wrote the police. am/df
