Bratislava, December 4 (TASR) - The spirit of the Christmas season will be reinforced as of Saturday by theme-decorated public transport vehicles in Bratislava, with passengers able to take rides on a Christmas tram and a new Christmas bus, a so-called sledgebus. This year's Christmas tram will be decorated in the theme of a children's Christmas. "Aside from traditional lights in the interior, it's adorned with children's drawings. The interior also contains decorations made by the pupils of Mokrohajska school," said Milan Donoval, Bratislava Public Transport company (DPB) board of directors vice-chair. One new feature will be the tram's PA system, which will announce the names of stops in the voice of TV presenter Viktor Vincze along with pre-schoolers and schoolchildren. The Christmas tram will serve route number 1, which loops from the main train station via Obchodna Street, SNP Square, Ludovit Stur Square, Safarik Square and back to the station. Its departures will be marked in the timetables with snowflakes. Also marked with snowflakes will be the 'sledgebus', which is set to take passengers at the weekend from Koliba to Kamzik forest park, where the city plans to open sledging and ski routes. The bus is bedecked with stickers displaying Bratislava landmarks covered in snow. mf/df/am
