Klus Meets US Ambassador, Confirms Pro-NATO & Pro-EU Policies

Bratislava, April 3 (TASR) - Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry State Secretary Martin Klus (Freedom and Solidarity/SaS), who on Friday met US Ambassador to Slovakia Bridget A. Brink, confirmed Slovakia's pro-Atlantic and pro-EU orientation and its "sincere intention" to observe its commitments vis-a-vis NATO membership. The discussion revolved mainly around the current political situation in Slovakia and the challenges related to the coronavirus pandemic, reported the Foreign Ministry's press department. "As for joint activities, the two partners identified cyber-security and strategy communication as their long-term priority issues. They evaluated bilateral relations and their above-standard nature and dynamics positively," stated the Slovak Foreign Ministry. bub/df
