Police Charge Two Serbs with Manslaughter of Countryman in Bratislava

Bratislava, December 11 (TASR) - Two men who attacked and beat to death a 22-year-old Serb in Bratislava Old Town on Sunday (December 8) have been arrested in Hungary and charged with being accomplices in voluntary manslaughter, while the third attacker, a national of North Macedonia, has been arrested but not charged yet, the police have reported on their social network page. "In collaboration with the Interpol National Centre and Hungarian police, two men suspected of attacking the Serb in front of the Main Post Office building in Bratislava in the small hours of December 8 have been arrested," reported the police. The two men were apprehended based on a European arrest warrant issued by Bratislava I District Court. The third man from North Macedonia was arrested in Slovakia. If found guilty, the accused could face up to ten years in jail. mf/df/am
