Bratislava, December 5 (TASR) - Slovakia has sent a convoy with humanitarian aid to Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Foreign and European Affairs Ministry reported on Thursday, adding that the convoy left the Interior Ministry's logistics base in Bratislava-Vajnory on Thursday afternoon. Albania was hit by a severe earthquake during the last week of November, with more than 50 people killed and hundreds injured. "The Albanian State Material Reserves Administration has requested material humanitarian aid. Slovakia will provide beds, blankets, sleeping bags, power generators and pumps," added the ministry. At the same time, they also despatched material humanitarian aid for the Red Cross in Bosnia and Herzegovina, consisting mainly of footwear and clothing for children and adults. am/mcs
