Bratislava, November 20 (TASR) - The Government on Wednesday took note of a material which reads that the most tangible results of the strategic partnership between Slovakia and France have been achieved by intensifying the dialogue in the international and European agenda, defence, agriculture and rural development, and in the cultural and educational spheres, TASR learnt on the same day. The political dialogue and co-operation between the countries has intensified in several areas. According to the document tabled by the Foreign and European Ministry, several meetings have taken place at both political and expert levels, such as the reception of President Zuzana Caputova in the Elysee Palace after French President Emmanuel Macron took office, the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, 100 years since the setting up of the first Czechoslovak Republic and the 100th anniversary of the tragic death of General M.R. Stefanik. Slovakia and France also continually confirm the need to support the ecological and energy transformation and development of the circular economy. In particular, co-ordination of nuclear energy practices is an important element of co-operation in this area. am/mcs/zel
