Orban: Caputova Honours Hungarians and V4, It's Praiseworthy

Budapest, July 12 (TASR-correspondent) - Slovak President Zuzana Caputova honours Hungarians and the Visegrad Four (V4: Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland), Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated on Friday in reaction to Caputova"s recent visit to his country.
Orban stated so in an interview for a public-service broadcaster, calling her approaches praiseworthy.
Orban and Caputova on Thursday agreed that the V4 cooperation is of strategic importance for Central Europe, especially nowadays when the most crucial questions concerning the future of Europe are being discussed in the EU.
The Hungarian prime minister also stated his opinion that Slovaks gave up their financial independence. "However, the only thing that happened is that they adopted the euro," he explained.
