Bytca: Dead Body Found in Drainage Canal, Identity Still Unknown

Bytca, May 10 (TASR) - Firefighters pulled a dead body out of a Vah River drainage canal between the town of Bytca and the village of Kotesova in Zilina region on Friday morning. The discovery of the body of a man without signs of life has been confirmed by Zilina regional police spokeswoman Gabriela Kremenova. "The medical examiner in a preliminary statement didn't rule out foul play and has ordered a post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death. The police are now carrying out the necessary steps to establish the identity of the man," said Kremenova. am/df
