NAKA Apprehends 14-yo Schoolboy Over False Bomb Report

Bratislava, May 8 (TASR) - The National Criminal Agency (NAKA) apprehended a 14-year-old schoolboy who is suspected of sending a false e-mail report of a bomb in an elementary school in Brezno (Banska Bystrica) on Tuesday (May 7), TASR learnt from Zuzana Hrabovska of the Police Corps Presidium on Wednesday. The boy was found and apprehended within 24 hours as part of an operation nicknamed The School. If found guilty of fearmongering, he might face between three and eight years in jail. The police warned, however, that making false bomb reports might be classified also as an aggravated crime of terrorism, for which a life sentence can be handed down. mf/mcs
