Gov't: Meta System to Get €9.25 mn in Stimuli to Produce Chargers for E-Cars

Bratislava, May 2 (TASR) - The company Meta System Slovakia will receive state investment stimuli amounting to €9.25 million for a plant for manufacturing on-board chargers for electric cars it plans to open in Trnava, according to a proposal for the provision of investment stimuli approved by the government at its session on Thursday. The company plans to invest over €126 million in the plant's machinery, technologies, rental of buildings and their reconstruction. The investment should create 494 new jobs by 2029. Meta System Slovakia is a part of Deren Electronic group based in China. The parent company, Shenzhen Deren Electronic, focuses mainly on the production of connectors, components for household appliances, consumer and automotive electronics and telematics technologies. It operates seven subsidiaries in the world, for example in the USA, Italy and Luxembourg. ko/mcs
