Bratislava, April 25 (TASR) - The investigation into the Tipos case continues, TASR learnt from spokesman for the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Trencin Marian Sipavy on Thursday. A former director of state-run lottery company Tipos identified only as J.B., and Tipos ex-IT head M.P. are still accused of money-laundering and violating obligations stemming from the administration of entrusted property. The spokesperson confirmed that the case is being supervised by a prosecutor of the Trencin Regional Prosecutor's Office. The accused were held in custody as of early December 2019, but they have been prosecuted at large since February 2020. The Supreme Court stated at that time that they allegedly committed crimes together, and more witnesses would have to be questioned and identified in at least 144 cases of suspect gaming accounts. Both have denied the charges. They were alleged to have committed the crimes between 2012-2018. If found guilty, they could face sentences of 10-15 years in prison. am/df
