President: Daffodils Give Hope and Help Those Who Bravely Fight Cancer

Bratislava, April 18 (TASR) - President Zuzana Caputova supported on Thursday the 28th year of the Daffodil Day fundraiser, pointing out on a social network that yellow daffodils today give hope and help to all those who bravely fight cancer. "The proceeds of this fundraiser go to support the projects of the League Against Cancer, which has been helping cancer patients and their families for more than 34 years. The fundraiser couldn't be organised without the help of thousands of volunteers who fill the streets of towns across Slovakia today," said the president. According to her, thanks go to the volunteers, but also to everyone who decides to support a good cause and show solidarity with cancer patients. am/mcs
