29. marca 2024 16:07
Bratislava, March 29 (TASR) - Around 47 percent of Slovaks are of the opinion that NATO is contributing to Slovakia's security at the time of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, while 30 percent think the opposite and the remaining 27 percent of the respondents claimed that they don't have a clear opinion on the issue, according to a recent survey. Those who perceive NATO as a benefactor for Slovakia's security are most frequently men, people with higher education and inhabitants of Bratislava, Presov and Trnava regions. This kind of positive contribution was perceived most strongly in February 2022, shortly after the onset of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The survey was carried out on a sample of 1,000 respondents between March 11 and March 15. zel/df
