"The future successes of the Belt and Road initiative largely depend on successful co-ordination of policies from individual actors, which can effectively help when it comes to further infrastructure development," stated Lajcak. The minister mentioned the economic situation in Slovakia, adding that Slovakia is among the fastest growing countries in the eurozone, also thanks to the firmly established car industry in the country. At the same time he noted that the Government needs to increase the investments in rail transport with the aim of maximising Slovakia"s transit potential. Lajcak also unveiled a bust of Milan Rastislav Stefanik in Slovakia"s representative office in Beijing on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Stefanik"s death.
