Bratislava, March 14 (TASR) - The 'For a Decent Slovakia' initiative welcomes the progress in the investigation into the murders of journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancee Martina Kusnirova, TASR learnt on Thursday. "We appreciate the work by police, investigators and prosecutors who are doing their utmost to bring both the murderers and the people who ordered the hit to justice," Juraj Seliga and Karolina Farska stated in their press release on behalf of the initiative. According to the initiative, it was also the work of investigative journalists and the pressure of civil society on squares that helped contribute towards the progress. The text voiced hope that the investigation will also be launched into other cases related to Marian K. and his associates. "We won't be satisfied until the murders of Jan and Martina as well as these other cases are investigated properly," reads the text, adding that honest investigators have the support of civic society. Marian K., who is in custody, was charged with ordering the murder of journalist Jan Kuciak, in which his fiancée Martina Kusnirova was also killed. Kuciak's murder was allegedly ordered by the accused businessman because of Kuciak's journalistic work. The information was confirmed at a press conference of the Special Prosecutor's Office (USP). mf/mcs
