Matovic Invites Caputova, Miklosko and Mistrik to Talk At One Table

Bratislava, January 15 (TASR) - Opposition Ordinary People (OLaNO) leader Igor Matovic is inviting three candidates for the post of Slovak president - lawyer and activist Zuzana Caputova, former parliamentary veteran Frantisek Miklosko and scientist Robert Mistrik - to a round table meeting, as he still thinks that this trio should mutually agree before the first round of the presidential election on a common unifying candidate, whom OLaNO will subsequently support, TASR learnt on Tuesday. The meeting should be held in the coming days. "All three candidates are good but we can't have three presidents," he said, adding that he considers the attitude of Miklosko who doesn't want to give up his candidacy to be irresponsible. Matovic doesn't know whether these three candidates will come to the meeting but he firmly believes that they will. The first round of the presidential election will be held on March 16, with a possible second round, if the head of state isn't elected in the first one, slated to take place on March 30. am/mcs
