Bratislava, November 20 (TASR) - Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) is set to pay an official visit to Italy between November 21-22, with the Cabinet approving the trip at its session on Tuesday. As part of his visit Pellegrini is set to meet Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte in order to discuss bilateral relations, including cooperation in trade and investment as well as current European and international issues. According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the bilateral talks will also focus on Slovakia's upcoming OSCE presidency, as the country is taking over the one-year rotating presidency from Italy in January 2019. The official visit to Italy is taking place in a year when Slovakia and Italy are marking the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia, in which Italy played an important role, added the ministry. tz/df
