Bratislava, August 16 (TASR) - Independent MP Viera Dubacova asked Interior Minister Denisa Sakova (Smer-SD) whether the ministry will disband the Our Homeland is the Future civic association, under the auspices of which the Slovak Recruits operate. The ministry told TASR that the file on this civic association has already been sent to the Prosecutor-General's Office at its own request. Dubacova emphasised that the Slovak Recruits operate under the auspices of Our Homeland is the Future, the statutes of which fly in the face of the law. "Civic associations cannot substitute tasks of the state. Our Homeland is the Future writes in them, however, that it will secure the defence of the state border," stated Dubacova, who is collaborating with the non-parliamentary Together party. "There's no mentioning of the phrase Slovak Recruits in the statutes of the Our Homeland is the Future civic association. The public administration section sent the whole file on this civic association to the Prosecutor-General's Office at its own request," TASR was told by the Interior Ministry. mf/mch/ko
